**Controller**

A well established company in the Monroe area is looking for you! This position will start off as Part-time, with a very flexible schedule, eventually moving into full-time.
The controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. Responsible for issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule. Other responsibilities include expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.
Duties Include but not limited to:
o Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
o Oversee the operations of the accounting department
o Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
o Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
o Issue timely and complete financial statements
o Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
o Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
o Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
o Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
o Plan and manages production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of all customer orders.
o Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
o Complete shipping information and delivery date input.
o Order floor stock with shelf life material for production.
o Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
o Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Qualifications: The controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
