Client Services Manager - DD Services

Provides Client Services Management/Supports Coordination (CSM) services to consumers determined to have a developmental disability. The population served on this caseload includes adults who are in need of long term habilitative, therapeutic, supportive or maintenance services and other cases as assigned. This can include individuals who live in their own homes, in group homes, Adult Foster Care sites, or other living arrangements. Persons with substance abuse problems, a major mental illness, and/or severe behavioral problems are also present on this caseload. Responsible to the Program Supervisor for delivery of direct and indirect services consistent with qualitative and quantitative performance goals and standards established for the Client Services Management Program.
Education, Training and Licensing Credentials:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with State of Michigan Licensure is required.
A Master's degree in in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling with State of Michigan Licensure is preferred.
Master's level such as
Licensed Master's Social Work
Limited License Psychologist
Licensed Professional Counselor
Appropriate Michigan licensure/certification is required. Two (2) years experience working with adult developmental disabilities preferred. Ability to maintain high working standards in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide the appropriate care for the specific clinical needs and ages of the individuals served. Demonstrated knowledge of the clinical needs, symptoms, and behaviors of individuals served, as well as understand the principles of growth and development over the life span; have the ability to assess data reflecting each individual's status; interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each individual's requirements in relation to his or her age-specific/population specific needs; and to provide the care needed by the appropriate age group - (adult and geriatric).
Other Competencies and Abilities:
Ability to work in a complex, detail-oriented, deadline structured, busy organization. The following physical and mental abilities are required: frequent lifting or carrying up to 15 pounds, must be able to hear, frequent standing/walking going up and down stairs due to community outreach basis, ability to communicate effectively in person and/or phone, the ability to read, analyze and interpret information, ability to write reports, correspondence and procedures, ability to maintain consumer charts/records, ability to define and solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, ability to influence others, and the ability to conduct patient assessments and treatment. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and such other applications if/when required. Ability to be trained and successfully complete other computer training as required. Valid driver's license, proof of current automobile insurance and driving record determined by the Authority's insurance carrier to be eligible for coverage if required as part of positions duties.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
