Gerdau is currently seeking a Production Control Coordinator for its Monroe, Michigan facility.
Responsibilities:
The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for the daily maintenance of customer inventory reports. The position is also responsible for tracking production to ensure bar counts, lengths and weights are entered in to the AS400 system correctly. Other duties include expediting material, keeping track of customer due dates, and scheduling trucks for material delivery.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred
Customer service and order handling preferred
AS400 or inventory control systems experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
