JOB TITLE: Senior Systems Engineer ERP/CNC
REPORTS TO: Director of Infrastructure & Operations
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in Business or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, deploying and supporting Infrastructure solutions and systems development in a Linux or Microsoft client server environment
Knowledge of SQL and Oracle database infrastructure a plus
Experience with Oracle Real Applications Clusters (RAC) preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One CNC position and systems development
Minimum 3 years of experience Oracle Web Logic Server
Experience with Oracle SOA Suite infrastructure and administration a plus
Experience with Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management infrastructure and administration a plus
Experience with Oracle Transportation Management suite infrastructure and administration a plus
Minimum of 5 years Infrastructure development and technologies
Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong project management skills
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels
Previous supervisory or technical team leadership experience preferred
Knowledge in developing technical strategic plans
BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide consulting, design, and development services of ERP Infrastructure solutions (E1, Agile, OTM, SOA) in an open systems environment for Clients Corporate and Divisions when requested.
Maintain, operate, and administer these solutions once in production.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Provide design services on ERP Infrastructure
Lead ERP Infrastructure initiatives when requested by Corporate or Divisions
Participate in Strategic planning for the use of ERP Infrastructure solutions
Assist the Director of Infrastructure & Operations in the development of an organizational structure, staffing strategies, area direction, standards, policies, as well as providing production support, operations and project work in the ERP space
Facilitate the planning, design and maintenance process of the Clients ERP server solutions infrastructure
Collaborate with Corporate, Divisional, or plant IT to find and implement cost savings projects for the Enterprise
Collaborate with Divisional or plant IT on ERP Infrastructure implementations
Foster and maintain good business relationships with both Divisional and plant IT, as well as external Clients customers
Coordinate inter-departmental activities with other IT areas as required for projects
Help in the development and implementation of performance standards and accountabilities
Help create and foster the team environment
Lead projects and or small teams of technical employees
May be required to:
Travel if required by project, task, assignment, or educational enhancement
Report to work during non-scheduled hours
Work overtime as necessary
Other duties as assigned
