Our client is a very prominent FORTUNE 500 tier 1 automotive supplier actively pursuing a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This is a newly created position due to the continued growth and profitabilty of the plant. This 500 employee plant has experienced 4 consecutive years of double digit growth and was recently named as an AUTOMOTIVE NEWS TOP SUPPLIER. The Engineering Manager is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!
Responsibilities for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer
This position will lead new manufacturing technology projects, champion Best Methods teams and standardization processes
Provide support to all areas (Engineering - advanced, program, or development; Manufacturing; Commercial; Quality; etc.) where manufacturing technology expertise is required
Leads the project management of new equipment including evaluation, design specification, selection, justification, acquisition, installation, and qualification
Requirements for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Candidate must have Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline of consideration
-> Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen, Kanban, 5s, etc) is considered a plus
